RoboRAVE Greece is an annual educational robotics festival that brings together students, teachers, and enthusiasts from across Greece and Europe for friendly, creative, and challenging competitions. It forms part of the international RoboRAVE network — a global, non-profit program dedicated to inspiring people of all ages to design, build, and program robots that can perform specific tasks.

The RoboRAVE Greece – Europe Open serves as a gateway for European teams to qualify and participate in the RoboRAVE World Championships.
Participants will engineer autonomous robots to complete challenges such as:

Climbing vertical surfaces 🧗‍♂️
Competing in sumo battles 🤖💥
Navigating complex mazes 🌀
Using sensors and vision technology to follow lines and track objects 👁️

RoboRAVE stands out for its open and inclusive format:
Teams can participate using any robotics platform, at any age, and with any level of experience — whether from a school, university, makerspace, or just as passionate hobbyists.

The competition encourages participants to face both known and unknown challenges, using a process of continuous testing, mechanical improvements, and coding iterations.
Beyond the technical aspect, RoboRAVE Greece promotes teamwork, creativity, and intercultural collaboration, helping students build essential 21st-century skills such as resilience, problem-solving, and innovation.

Grounded in project-based and inquiry-based learning, RoboRAVE Greece reflects the spirit of education through play — where curiosity, perseverance, and collaboration lead to discovery and success.
