What is RoboRAVE?

RoboRAVE is an international robotics competition and education program that welcomes students, teachers, and hobbyists of all ages.
Founded in 2001 in New Mexico (USA), it promotes hands-on learning, teamwork, creativity, and innovation through fun robotic challenges.

Participants design, build and program autonomous robots to complete missions — always following the RoboRAVE motto: “Fun while Learning!”
With events held in dozens of countries, RoboRAVE connects young innovators from around the world and inspires them to explore science and technology with excitement.

How does it work?

RoboRAVE is simple, friendly, and open to everyone:

1. Form a team – Students work in groups to design and program their own robot.

2. Choose a challenge – Line following, sumo, maze solving, firefighting, and more.

3. Build & practice – Teams improve their robot through testing and iteration.

4. Compete & collaborate – On competition day, teams showcase their work while helping and learning from others.

5. Learn, improve, repeat – Success comes from teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.

At RoboRAVE, the focus is not only on winning — but on learning, sharing, and having fun.

No! RoboRAVE Greece is designed for everyone — beginners and advanced students alike.
You don’t need robotics knowledge to join. Our challenges are open, friendly, and perfect for learning step-by-step through experimentation, teamwork, and fun.
